Anyone looking for an ultra portable / mini laptop / sub notebook / netbook is now spoilt for choice. It seems that after the OLPC (one laptop per child) project announced they were aiming to build an ultraportable device for $100, every manufacturer wants a piece of the pie.

Don’t forget the MSI Wind (or the Advent 4211 as it’s more commonly found in the UK) – it’s also the only Netbook that currently supports the Sleep function on OS X if you manage to turn it into a hackint0sh.
I bought an Acer Aspire One recently and it is fantastic. I’d definitely recommend that one over the EEE, which I also had but had difficulty connecting to wireless points (making it next-to-useless).
